Join us for one last gathering!
This Climate Week NYC, we’re closing the chapter on the NYC Agriculture Collective, After a fruitful decade of convening, connecting, and advocating for sustainable urban agriculture in the city.
We’ll mark this milestone and celebrate the community that made it possible with a Final Celebration on September 25 at Farm. One in Brooklyn, NY. 👉Register for Free on Eventbrite
What began as a scrappy volunteer-led network grew into a platform that did much to contribute to the fabric of New York's urban agriculture ecosystem. Some of our accomplishments over the years include:
NYC AgTech Week & Industry Events: Hosted the largest annual gathering on urban agriculture during Climate Week NYC, bringing together growers, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and advocates from around the world.
Policy & Advocacy: Our testimony and expertise contributed directly to the creation of the Office of Sustainability in the NYC Mayor’s Office, the passing of Bill 1661-A (the Green Roofs Act), and former Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams’ New Agrarian Economy Report.
Community & Partnerships: Convened cross-sector coalitions that spanned boroughs and generations, helping to elevate conversations around equity, access, and resilience in local food systems.
Independent & Community-Driven: Operated as a volunteer-led, nonprofit organization funded solely through grants, individual and institutional donations, and sponsorships — ensuring our work always reflected the priorities of the community we served.
This isn’t the end of the work. The people, values, and relationships that powered the Collective live on, just in new forms, organizations, and initiatives. We hope you’ll continue pushing the movement forward, wherever you are!
